These people are hacks and crooks....avoid this place like the plague! They attempt to take advantage of college students, telling them they need unnecessary, expensive treatments. My son had an appointment for an exam and cleaning. Dr said he had periodontal disease and required four $600 antibiotic treatments over the course of a year. They refused to clean his teeth unless he started the $600 treatments. Got two second opinions, both dentists said no periodontal disease. After 2 times to get it right, Aspen Dental still have my dentures. Their staff, is IGNORANT of what has been paid And the "receptionist" tried to BULLY ME into paying 800.00. They canceled my appointment after it was confirmed. They called the day before the appointment. I missed the call. I called back. Nobody answered. I arrive at the appointment only to be told it was canceled because I didn't give verbal confirmation over the phone. I had an appointment confirmation printed out on paper from the week before. Would give a 0 if possible. We've had multiple issues and needed to contact the office. Recording says to leave a message but our calls have not once been returned (as in at least 4 calls per issue). We have resorted to going in to ask questions and resolve concerns, very inconvenient and just odd that they don't answer the phone. If we could give zero stars we would for this place! It took forever for my son to even get an appt then they made an excuse why it had to be rescheduled. Then the day of the second appt they made another excuse why they had to reschedule it yet again but past the date my son's insurance expires. She said the oral surgeon is only there once a month but all the rescheduled appts were two weeks out from each other. Very poor business practices as well.

They are very very unorganized. Aspen Dental has over charged me several times. They tell me how much I owe, I pay it and the next time I come in they say I owe them more $$. Always well over a $100. This happened 4 times including this last time! Because I have to sit down with the business office lady and go through my itemized statement each time only to figure out I am again getting over charged, I prepaid for my crown and filling and was assured I was paid up. UPDATE: my wisdom tooth extraction went extremely poorly. they refused to give my mom any details on how the surgery went. all we heard is "everybody heals different". started having extreme pain in an extraction sight. after initially being denied to be seen three days later, my mom had to get on the phone and raise hell in order to get me in the office. they got me in, Dr. Banks took a no-more-than 15 second look at the site, and told me VERBATIM "Nothing's wrong. My college aged daughter scheduled a cleaning at Aspendental and all went well so she schedule a wisdom tooth extraction. The procedure went fine but the doctor did not answer any of my daughters concerns prior to the surgery. She told me he was way more interested in chatting up the assistants in the room and did not give her concerns any time or answers. Went in for treatment after having a preliminary exam in Mt. Airy. Advised staff my son and I needed immediate care for some issues. Absolutely refused to schedule urgent care unless I had tons of cleanings first. Emma, who looked like she was just out of high school was very condescending. Amy Branch, the office manager, was extremely nasty to me when I presumed to question that policy. Dr. Banks, the head of the practice, refused to intervene and control his staff. Horrible experience overall.
