Aspen Dental is a rip off! Prices changed for service and we were charged oop almost $900 & we were told insurance wouldn't pay anything. After going to another dentist, insurance paid 95%! And yesterday we get a bill in mail for $16 & it shows insurance paid over $700. So that over $1600 for a treatment that the other dentist saud should have cost around $400!
I had an appointment for a cleaning. When I got there they said I needed all this treatment and was going to charge me 700$ because my insurance didn't cover all the treatment. When asked if I could just do a cleaning (like the original plan) they said no. What they didn't know was that I just had a dental exam done with my military dentist. Therefore, I knew I didn't need all that treatment. I will never go back nor will I recommend people to them.
They kept rescheduling my husbands appt (twice) and his upper denture wasn't ready when they said they would be. For the price of extractions and dentures we were not pleased. I would not recommend to my friends.
I went for a very simple extraction, wouldn't have taken 5 minutes to pull my very loose tooth. Sat there for over 2hrs. No tooth pulled. Talked about dentures,, haha $3900.00 to get dentures and pull remaining teeth. Not!!!!!! This place is nothing like the commercial advertises, sad part is I was excited they had an office closer to my house than Tuscumbia, Muscle Shoals, wherever the other office is.
They charged me a $100 extra and loosened my other tooth beside the one they took out and it broke so now I gotta get it out but want be going back there period..
Not only did they forget to order any anesthesia for my oral surgery Monday, they lied to me about NOT having a waiting period on my insurance. So after it was over, the bill would have been twice the price and all on me. Thank God I called Blue Cross to confirm this. I went through so much unnecessary stress over this! I am disgusted. These people do not care about your teeth. They care about your wallet. See all the complaints on the internet, then find a real dentist.
