Dr Joe Tesene is a very talented but more importantly very caring human being and Dentist. I would send my grandmother to be his patient.

I came to Aspen Dental for an extraction and dental implant. I did my research on their prices and proceeded to have my wisdom teeth removed as well as regular cleaning services through them. I never was able to get the service I asked for (due to changing prices and never giving me a proper insurance preauthorization) and decided to go through another dentist after rude treatment by their oral surgeon. Strike one: Made me reschedule my appointment due to allegedly not having anything available for the time that I had been booked for an appointment. Strike two: After signing all the patient forms and checking in online (moments after getting the confirmation email), they gave away my appointment time again. The respect and honest concern they provide for patients is something I’ve never encountered with a dental practice before. I have always tended to avoid dentists for fear of the lectures and the admonishment. Dr. Joe Tesene was so respectful. I’m actually looking forward to my surgery next week.

Everything about my experience was great. Only thing I can complain about is when you get financing and they owe you a refund they drag their feet in submitting the refunds. Even when you hound on them it doesn’t get done and then your account gets closed with the finance company. Thank you Aspen! Now you’ll never get my business again!

LONG POST: I came into Aspen and had two teeth that had been filled and drilled too deep at another dentistry location in need of root canals. I was referred to a place called Endodontists in West Des Moines for one root canal and had to return to get a crown from Dr. Mitchel at the SE 14th location. SHE DID A FANTASTIC JOB. Then the nightmare began... They did x-rays and created a 'plan' for my mouth and fillings that needed to be done or reworked due to errors from my former dentist.
