Please avoid Aspen Dental at all costs, especially the Dunwoody location. In June 2024, I had a wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Michael Hall, DMD, and was left with permanent nerve damage to my tongue. Despite reporting the numbness shortly after surgery, I was repeatedly brushed off and told to "wait it out." Months later, after multiple visits and unhelpful advice, Dr. Hall finally referred me to a specialist--one who doesn't take insurance and charges tens of thousands of dollars out of pocket for treatment. This is a horrible facility. They are very unorganized to be such a big group. I went in for a visit at their Dunwoody location and was told I needed a root canal and a crown and also a crown for another tooth. I was advised I would have to pay for the services before they would even schedule me to do the root canal and crown. They wanted to charge me upfront for everything but I refused I told them I would schedule visits as I go and pay for them. I arrived at this dentist office at 11:20 AM and there was a sign on the front door saying out to lunch will be back at 1 PM. REALLY!!! Office staff gets an hour and a half for lunch ?? Promise As soon as I entered the front door of this establishment, it was a turn off because the three unprofessional young ladies that were at the reception desk. Aspen Dental has a terrible reputation with clients as well as peers! Stay away! This kind of practice is what gives corporate dental offices a bad reputation!

The dentist are great but the front staff is awful. I called the office 4x and visited in person to get information on a potential procedure. Was told the office mgr would call me back. She never did!

Total scam. This office is run like a corporation where the employees work on commission and will try to upsell you on everything even if it is unnecessary. I told my regular dentist that the hygienist at Aspen told me that I needed a deep clean and and tried to scare me about the shape of my gums. My regular dentist told me that there was no reason for me to get a deep clean because I don't have the pockets that require a deep clean. Stay far away from this business. Beware.

If I could give one star I would. This place is a complete scam. Do not go to any of these locations. Especially if you have insurance they will find a way to charge over the insurance by thousands. If you go in for a cleaning, they are gonna say you need a deep cleaning no matter what. And that's how it starts . You cannot walk in this place with insurance and still not have to come out your pocket for hundreds of dollars. It's a a complete hard sell. I had my tooth extracted on February 22nd 2023. I was suppose to get a bridge one month later so Aspen Dental put in a temporary bridge until my permanents come. When I visited for my bridge (one month later) I was told the xrays were lost so the company who makes the bridge never received my documents. So I had to come back two weeks later. I received a call as I'm coming to the office that my dentist was out of town and no one was available for the next two weeks. These people DO NOT CARE! I came into the dental office a week ago, crying, because my tooth was aching so much that I could not stand the ringing in my ear. They made me sit for two hours as they took x-rays and poked at my teeth. In the end, they never tried to fix my problem. I wanted to know when they would be able to extract my tooth. They told me a week later, was the first of when they would be able to do the extraction. I said that I wanted to set it up for then so I would not be in pain anymore. The office manag... read more
