Went to get a filling. My appt was at 4, I arrived 20 minutes early. I didn’t get called back til 430. Didn’t see a dentist til 530. Then was told instead of getting a filling it would be better to have all my teeth including the good ones pulled & get dentures to save money Incase I ever have future issues. Then I couldn’t leave until I sat down with someone to give me an estimate that I told them I didn’t want. I didn’t get out of there til 6:25 & they didn’t even do anything to my teeth.
Went to Aspen dental in Galesburg Illinois today to get a filling fixed had the worst experience ever. I was told they wouldn't fix it because I wouldn't let them fix my other teeth today after explaining my son had another appointment in Peoria so I didn't have time. I feel they were trying to bully me into getting all my teeth fixed today. They messed up my x—rays there was also 3 girls in my room talking to each other and trying to figure things out. Had a 1:15 pm appointment. Waited 45 min to get in. Dentist came in, looked at what I needed done and flat out said ' no, I won't do it'. I was shocked. Not only that he wouldn't do it but how bluntly he said so. Afterward, they had the audacity to try and sell me some kind dental package. It was really unreal. I ended up at another dentists office 2 hours later and had my issue resolved. Needless to say, I'll never use Aspen again or recommend them to anyone.
I originally went to the Moline office for tooth extractions and dentures. My experience was very positive. When the Galesburg office opened up I continued on there. I had a dentist at that office that was strange to say the least. He had a weird affect and often said inappropriate things. I felt uncomfortable around him. I can imagine how much damage he did to the practice. He finally did have a positive outcome for my situation but in the mean time it was an uncomfortable experience and took many visits. My husband and I had appts at 2:30pm and 3:15 pm for exam and x-rays since we have no ins. Friendly, nice and clean. It took us 3 hours total after being told the financial aspects. Slightly heavy handed sales pitch.

I went with my daughter to have her wisdom teeth pulled. She got right in was done in about a half an hour. She had no swelling and manageable pain. A positive experience overall.
