I called to make an emergency appointment with a dentist because I had a molar that had an abscess and I was in severe pain with a swollen jaw and glands near the tooth. I heard the dental assistant speak with the dentist on duty that day and he absolutely refused to see me and told her to tell me to call my regular physician. I was an established patient and shouldn't have been denied. I feel that big dental franchises like this are only interested in easy procedures like whitening teeth and dental veneers. Booked appointment online for broken tooth. Received email & text confirming my appointment. The text message read "If you would like to reschedule or confirm call ### and press 2." Since the text message read I could confirm with a phone call I called the number given and did as told by pressing 2. I was immediately brought to spanish, which I do not speak. I came in for some work. Nice waiting room with someone who takes care of you quickly. I have insurance that takes off 30% that's where the trouble comes into paradise. I paid the full amount and they didn't refund my 30 percent. I called 3 times and each time they said ok we'll do it. I was patient and thought ok maybe they're just busy but still nothing. So instead of 30 percent they said they'll be sending me $400. That's supposed to be 30 percent of 3000. I just don't want anyone else getting taken like I was. So watch w... read more

I was contacted today by the insurance woman from Aspen Dental Homosassa, Fl. . She asked if theres any thing she can do because she saw my review. I said I just want to know why my insurance was charged for the whole procedure ? She said it wasn't. I said well thats what the other one said when I was trying to leave. She said that is not what she said, she meant your initial appointment was paid for......NO.... she didn't. This place is horrible! Twice I arrived for an appointment and was told they had to cancel because there was no dentist. I needed a partial, but knew I had a couple more teeth I would probably lose. The dentist told me I could get a partial that they could add teeth to. I got the partial and lost a tooth two months or so after. I was told they could not add a tooth to the partial. I asked to speak to the dentist who told me this and was told he was no longer there. The staff is never the same from one visit to the next... read more

My review was not "totally" made toward the Doctor but rather his office staff. Maybe the Doctor only heard one side and I am sure that is the case or he would not have told me to get out because he was told I was rude to the woman in the office. In any case, coming into the room and accusing me rather than asking me what happened is my issue. The lady in the office was rude to me and I am sure I responded the same way. I went there and they front desk staff was very friendly, however they lied to me. They said they were running a special on extractions for $132. So, I went and after all the X-Rays and everything, they said it would cost me $777.00 dollars to extract 3. At $132.00 it should have been$392.00 but, I was in so much pain for 3 weeks. I just want those back teeth removed. I went back next day to get them extracted. I went there shortly after they opened to became a new patient but I'm glad I didn't become one. From the minute you walk in until the minute you walk out of this dentist office it does nothing but try to sell you and convince you to buy things from them. I felt like I was at an auction not a dentist office. All I wanted was a standard cleaning.
