The Best Diagnostic Technology, Good Dental Clinic. The Dentist isn't a place of comfort and I don't like going there unless its absolutely necessary. When I do go I always have a painful experience, just keeping it real. I called my Insurance provider to verify if Aspen was in-network in my insurance coverage, they said, yes and it was a go. I woke up monday morning to a swollen face and a very painful toothache . I live in Iowa and was in Ottawa Kansas for a job assignment . I called my supervisor and he gave me the number for our dental plan representative . He found Aspen Dental in Lawrence that could get me a same day appointment . I was the second patient when they opened and I have to say they are fantastic! The doctor was amazing and the staff was attentive. I had a really bad experience with another dentist in Lawrence and couldn't wait until they opened. I also read other reviews about the company. I did not have a bad experience at all. If I could give 0 stars I would. And I am not one to complain, especially not online but buckle up. When I called to schedule my first appointment I specifically asked for my yearly cleaning that was covered by my insurance as I was overdue for a clean. I was told new patient exams could take between 60-90 minutes, no problem for me I'm sure there is dental history to be taken, x-rays, and the cleaning, right?
