it was all about money. they wanted me to have a root canal done and charged me before my visit of 1300 and I waited 30 mins before closing and I canceled my appointment asked for a refund. I went to a family dentist. turns out I never had to have a root canal. I just needed a filling. please people go somewhere else. the aspen in mc dounghah, ga is terrible. Advice: if you want to go to them don't mention any other dentist and don't say anything that anything is toooo expensive. just shut up and pay then do what they say. ... read more

Dr. Ajose-Adeogun lacks compassion and empathy. The pain medicine used for my husband’s tooth extraction was ineffective and he was left with retained roots (broken pieces of his tooth were left). He was dismissed in pain with an oral surgeon and a prayer that they’ll see him today. There was NO peer-to-peer conversation to ensure that he’d be seen today...I’m beyond livid!!

I am 37 years old, have never had a cavity in my life, and have had routine cleanings every 6 months since I was a child. I went to Aspen several years ago and was told I had 10 cavities and gum disease. I was shocked by this news, so I went to a real dentist for a second opinion. Guess what? No cavities and no gum disease. This is all too common at Aspen Dental. Aspen is notorious for recommending unnecessary treatment to boost corporate profits. The assistant's and office staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the dentist at the Macon, Riverside location needs more training in her bed-side mannerisms. She was abrupt and hard spoken to me the entire time. I feel she would of rather me to not have been there. She could learn from the other employees as how to treat the customers. By the way, this was my first time there. Not a good impression.🤒

I had a horrible experience at Aspen Dental WR, I started going to Aspen in Macon, where they were quite good actually when I was there. The problems came afterwards... Oct '18 - had my visits and everything was good. Paid what I needed to pay. Nov '18 - I got a bill for a copay for flouride, which my HMO covers in it's entirety. I called Aspen and they told me not to worry, bill wouldn't be sent to collections as it probably just meant the insurance company hasn't sent the payment yet. They need to stop overcharging their patients. If you don't have insurance yo have to pay up front before they touch you. I paid, had dental work done, went in for more fittings, now that I am in need of more work, they tell me I have a balance. What.....I want a breakdown of all charges and payments. They say it's out of there hands now...
THE ASPEN DENTAL AT 5005 IN MACON DOES NOT TREAT THERE PATIENTS RIGHT THE IMPRESSION FOR MY HUSBANDS TEETH WAS NOT DONE RIGHT THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A YEAR NOW .
