RecommendedEveryone here is amazingly helpful. From the time you walk in, Emma and Autumn make you feel welcome. All of the assistants and the DR are amazingly friendly and work very hard to make sure you are cared for. I trust them with my care 100 percent. Also the visiting surgeon and his staff are amazing. Clean environment and short wait times as well. 10/10 would recommend.
When they were first building the Aspen Dental office in Marshalltown Iowa I was going to set an appointment. Then I mentioned it to a friend and she said no way Aspen has a really bad reputation. I did a modicum of research and yes there was a few complaints and so I didn't set an appointment then. A few years later one of my co-workers came in the office with new dentures. I had 1 tooth that was broken and the one that was repaired today that was about to break when I visited Aspen. I was led to believe I was about to lose 2 teeth because of a missing tooth and a bridge was required. I just had a tooth filled by another dentist that should have been fixed in 2017-18 BEFORE a bridge was considered. He is concerned I might have to have a Root Canal or extract the tooth. Complete scam. Went in for a broken tooth. They couldn't do anything about it. Tried selling me on a bunch of crap. Tried to get me to finance it all. Complete joke!
This was my second appointment with Aspen. My first appointment went fine but this one was totally different. Well, except for the office personal, the young lady was knowledgeable and got my insurance and billing straighten out. I came in for a cleaning only. It was rather an odd cleaning. I went to the Cedar Rapids, IA office for an emergency type of need for a crown I needed. I ended up being over charged. After several calls to the business office nothing was really resolved and was told they would figure it out and resend me a bill. They said there was a billing error and that they would fix it and resend the fixed bill and then they ended up not sending a fixed bill with the corrections, but sent me to collections instead. I went to the Marshalltown Aspen Dental on a Saturday morning for a very sore tooth. After the X-rays and the pain being so intense, my blood pressure rose way to high and they wouldn't pull it. Paid for a tooth extraction that didn't happen and I am suppose to go back and have it pulled. Will call them this morning and see if I can get it done this morning or if I will have to wait until the swelling in my jaw goes down. He did put me on antibiotics for 7 days.
