The worst experience ever! First time visit and got tricked into a $1200+ unneeded tooth cleaning! Beware of the office manager!

My appointment was at 8:00 AM for a cleaning. waited 45 minutes called in only to sit in the in the chair for another 15 minutes. Had the cleaning. left at 10:15. My time is important as well. I have been with Aspen dental for over ten years in Maine...Loved them never waited more than 15 minutes and was out in an hour. They may have been having a bad day one more chance if I wait over 15 minutes I'll be looking for another Dentist.

Aspen Dental a SHIT HOLE RIP OFF. I went in with a tooth I wanted pulled and they talked me into a $600 cleaning, which did little to relieve the pain. Several weeks later I get s $77 bill from a collection agency. I called the most inefficient office people there is, the first person said she had no idea what the charge is for and she will have her so called Office Manager look into it and return my call. Yesterday I went to Aspen for my 6 month cleaning. The hygenist seemed rushed and did my cleaning in only 15 - 20 min. Not sure why so quickly. Felt like I didn't get a full cleaning. Other staff was friendly.

I wouldn't take my pit bull to this office. They are only interested in getting your money the patient's opinion is of no value to them.
A crown was put on. Kept coming off and being re-glued. New one was made and it had to be re-glued. Two days ago it had to be done again. I had the choice of paying to re-glue it or I could pay for the crown to be remade. Paid to have it re-glued and WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ASPEN DENTAL.

Total scam designed to scare and fleece old people. Dentist looked at my x rays and told me that I needed a crown...He did not find any cavities(I have never had a cavity) so he needed to make some money somehow. I looked at the x rays and I think that he saw a shadow....no crack. Then the hygienist came in and made it sound like I have very serious periodontal disease and I needed to have all kinds of uncovered services.....they charge $45 for a fluoride treatment...this is normally around $10. When I made the appointment it was for xrays, exam and cleaning well things quickly changed when I got there, did xrays and then a bill for $3267.00!! asked about just a cleaning and she said it would be $800! Said I had gum disease which the dentist himself never mentioned to me, he also said he could put in a partial and I have been told from another dentist it cant be done because of bone loss.Hundreds of dollars for that too! Will not be going back!
Rescheduled me 4 times and didn't update it. I was waiting in their office for an hour and the receptionist blamed me for the problem, probably because her data sheet was a date out of date. If the receptionists aren't well trained, how good can the actual dentists be?
