I was looking back at some older reviews about Aspen dental and several of them were talking about having an awful experience and all I can do is shake my head. I've been to this dental office 3 times now and those ladies that work there have showed me more respect than most of my family members would!! They constantly checked on me and made sure I was okay and the dentist that pulled my teeth made it look so easy!! The hardest part to get through was the numbing needle! I had not gone to the dentist in many years and broke a back tooth one night. I was able to get a next-day appointment at this location. I must say Lydia is the glue that holds this office together. She is patient, so friendly, and knowledgeable. She was the first employee I saw to do the initial x-rays. Dr. G is the best! This office is great. Very nice staff and clean office. I visited this office for a second opinion after having my molar ruined by Thompson Family Dentistry in Plano. Dr. G was honest with me and suggested a Root Canal and Crown on my molar. She didn't try to upsell me, which I really appreciate. I wish I would have visited this office first, it would have saved my tooth. The Office Manager Felicity help me apply for the Care Credit and walked me through the whole process. I love Dr. G! I don't ever want to go anywhere else now! I have a horrible history of past dentists and I finally found my my perfect dentist office! I have a lot of anxiety around dental work and they were so comforting! The team is amazing as well! .

My husband and I had not visited a dental office in over 5 years. The first visit to Aspen Dental is a consult/x-ray/dental exam. After the x-rays are taken, the dental hygienist does her exam, and finally the dentist. They review their findings with you and discuss a treatment plan. Then you talk to the office manager about the cost. Their cost includes the actual cost, insurance or discount and finally your out of pocket cost. BEWARE!!! Aspen Dental will gaslighting you to believe you have issues and drain your pocket dry for their predatory billing practice. I have been using them for several years because I struggle to find alternatives. But this year was the last straw. They did root canal and crown. But the crown barely feel good even after years. They kept saying I have gingivitis when several other dentists verified my gums are healthy. And their billing practice is extremely greedy. I went there for initial / annual cleaning and before I know they gave me a list of what needed to be done. I thought it was necessary, which was Not. They wanted me to go back back every 4 months for cleaning and X Ray, which my insurance wouldn't cover. The dentist did fillings around my teeth because of my gum receding, and she promised me that the procedures are covered by my insurance. I had permanent dentures made at this office in Plano and am very happy with the dentures. Unfortunately, the after care is less impressive. My routine cleanings should only cost less than $400, but unfortunately they charge for a deep cleaning (over $2,000) each time I go. I had so much pain the first few cleanings, my dentist prescribed a drug to relax me that needed to be taken right before my appointment and that someone would need to drive for me. This place is clean but staff is very rude. I will be paying for my child to go somewhere else after his visit today. The treatment is ridiculous!
