Well, that was a big old waste of my time. Made an appointment with a sole objective: getting a cleaning. I have some tooth staining and desperately need a cleaning. We are currently in between dentists, and I thought I could get this very simple thing done at Aspen. Not so fast! I was told by the receptionist that because I was a new patient, I had to go through all the new patient bullshit — exam and xrays. Okay, fine ... Refuse to bill my husbands medical insurance for his wisdom tooth extraction. Refuse to mail me the documentation to submit the claim myself. I get different answers every time I call. We paid over $600 for this procedure. $500 of which should have gone towards his deductible and didn’t and they just sent him to collections for another $34 I refuse to pay. Terrible business practices. Made him prepay on a 0% finance plans before even scheduling his appointment he didn’t end up getting it done for TWO years but prepaid.
RecommendedI had my very first visit at Aspen Dental last night. Even though the wait was longer than expected, everyone I dealt with was very professional and friendly. Compared to my last dental visit with Nova Dental, my visit with Aspen Dental was 100% more positive. Night & day difference! Staff was friendly and professional. I was somewhat disappointed in the financial set up they offer such as holding back the prices of dentures and taking your money up front. Also I had a coupon from their website that they had to be pushed into honoring only to find out they did not deduct the full amount. Not sure about the quality of work since the dentures are not ready yet.
Nice staff. Business manager and office staff were very efficient at making sure they got paid. Removal of three teeth by Dr Smith went OK, and was painless. The partial denture they supplied is unsatisfactory, and a clasp that should hoid it in broke one tooth and one filling. On the whole, UNSATISFACTORY.
Worst place place ever! I would never recommend!
This location had an issue with my older children (ages 10 & 7) being in the room with me while getting a cavity filled. I was told it was a liability since there will be a needle and a drill. If the office isn't sure my kids would be safe there, then I sure don't want that dentist using those tools in my mouth! I'm not leaving my kids in the waiting room for all that time....especially considering the recent illegal activities that have been reported in that area. Have never been so disgusted with how a manager handled a situation. She actually told me my family of FOUR was no longer welcome at their office, after a verbal disagreement with my husband over a charge to his account. Great business practice. Then she HUNG UP on me. We have been customers for many years. What a rude, nasty, person. I am a small business owner, and would NEVER treat a long term customer this way.
