I really wanted this to be a positive review, especially because Dr. Gaitan and Fatima were initially great during my first few visits. Unfortunately, my experience has taken a very disappointing turn. I first came in on 5/13 with severe tooth pain. After that visit, I walked away with a $6,000 treatment plan and an appointment scheduled a week out--but no relief. I was told I needed a root canal, two crowns, and a cavity filled. after waiting a few weeks, I have been suffering with a tooth infection. The dentist put a crown on even though I told him it was very sensitive still,. I had to go to another dentist and have the crown removed. An entire Root was missed and I am back on antibiotics and having to go visit another endodontist in a few weeks. I have made numerous calls, trying to get a refund for the money that they overcharged me and unfortunately, it may have to go beyond that because I am getting nowhere with the office manager or the cor... read more

Was referred here for a specific situation and was quoted for multiple things. Calling receptionist/ and front desk are horrible. Quick to get you in, but the service after is so bad. Shady on their pricing and when you ask why they transfer you to billing who says to talk your dental insurance. My insurance covers 80% extractions no deductible yet charged a $50 deductible at the office while paying for a service preemptively.

unscrupulous billing practices!!! Aspen is considered an in network dentist with my insurance, and I was billed an astronomical amount and after receiving my explanation of benefits and physically taking them to the office and being told, I would have a refund within 7 to 10 days. This has not happened. you will be billed for things that you do not owe you will be billed for things in advance whether you have the services or not! The staff was nice enough, but when I want a problem tooth pulled and the only options I am given for a replacement so my teeth won't shift is an implant or a bridge and the dentist said he refuses to do a bridge. Well, there's also a partial denture plate that costs WAY less than an implimplant and is mire within my budget. Shame on y'all for pushing expensive implants and payment plans that people keep telling you they can't afford. I'll pull my own teeth before I ever set foot in Aspen Dental again!

I guess this front deck thing is an issue. I too was made sure that my insurance was good to go and then after I drove 45 mins and went thru an hr 20 min appointment come to find out they don't use my insurance. If this has already happened then there's no excuse to blame the front desk person because she's new. Hygienist & doctor were cool everything was great but then you tell me I can't doesnt make any sense. Do better!

I called and set up an appointment to have two broken teeth pulled. This was made known on the initial call, and again to the front desk when I arrived to the xray when doing X-rays, and the dental hygienist when doing the initial exam. Letting all four people representing Aspen dental that I was leaving for vacation in two days and wanted the teeth pulled. new patient "emergency visit for crown removal" Asked them twice if they accepted the insurance....Assured twice that they did. Gave my info with insurance! and had me fill out whole history! THEN TELL ME THEY don't accept the insurance! AWFUL FRONT DESK STAFF. I can't comment on the dental assistants or the dentist....we never got that far. From what I am told they are wonderful....what a shame I never was able to meet them and experience their skill. Get rid of your front desk!

New patient appointment yesterday. The dentist seated my crown in the complete opposite direction it fits. The outside is now inside and it sits up so high that my bite is completely off. I asked the dentist TWICE yesterday afternoon, why it sits so high? That I couldn't bite correctly. He assured me TWICE that it was on correctly. This is NOT the case. Now my husband and I have to take the day off work to return and have their ineptitude corrected. Here's hoping.
