Couple years ago we found our beloved cat tiger had been given the wrong kind of insulin for his diabetes . Planned pethood in Denver had gave us insulin that was for dogs . He looked pretty much dead . No appetite could barley walk he seemed drowsy and fatigued . They were very straight forward that they didn't think he would make it but they would try . My dog started itching a couple days ago, I tried everything I could think of at home that might make it stop because he hates going in the car and to the vet. Today it got much worse so I called around and no one had any openings coming up. I called Aurora Animal Hospital and they said if we could be there by 7:15 they could get us in tonight, and they were so nice about squeezing us in. Everyone was so kind and attentive! Love this hospital! I drive out of my way to take my pets here. Dr.Strickland is the only doctor that my dog isn't afraid of and we have seen many of the of he doctors in the clinic. Everyone is super nice and helpful. Very compassionate as well when I had to put my cat down. I appreciate their level of care and concern for my fur baby!
Truly the best vet ever! I have never felt pressured to do unnecessary things, cost is always reasonable, they take a lot of time with our pets and answer so many of my questions! Love this vet!
I'm a former veterinary technician so it was interesting to be on the other side of the exam table with a new pet for the first time in a while. I learned some new things from Dr. Desko today, so it seems like he's keeping up on new treatment research which I always find comforting. Overall, very pleased with our visit and looking forward to future visits, just hoping our new little one stays healthy so they don't become too frequent!
Every person here is warm & wonderful!! I know my pets get THE best care possible!!
So happy with Dr. Strictland and Aurora Animal Hospital. They take such good care of our guinea pigs and make us feel welcome and special everytime we walk in the door!
