We have been taking our fur kids here for about a year and a half now. The entire staff is amazing. I can always tell how much they care for the animals they see. Last Saturday, I brought in my sweet kitty, Chewie, because she was sick. Dr. Drozdz spent about 2 hours trying to figure out what was wrong. She kept me constantly updated on what was being tried. Ultimately, Chewie would need an ultrasound to see what was wrong. Unfortunately it was not something we could afford (whole other story) and I was forced to surr... read more
They are kind, caring and compassionate. If there is an urgent visit needed they fit you in.
We bring our 2 red eared sliders to see Dr. Willems. She is gentle, kind and knows so much about turtles. We drive out of our way to come here for the best care. We bring our dog here too, and everyone who has seen him has been wonderful. The techs are all very caring and friendly, and we have never had to wait long to be taken into a room and seen. I highly recommend Aurora Animal Hospital, especially for anyone with reptiles/exotics.
UPDATE - Well, it’s 2022 now, and things have changed a lot since my original recommendation! My original dog has grown up, I’ve acquired another dog (a long planned for dog who just happened to come at the beginning of COVID - ugh), the second dog got sick $$, the first dog stayed perfect, the second dog had to spend the first year of her life going to the vet all by herself (covid) and developed a fear - now I have a Rottweiler with an attitude at the vet. SO! Things have changed! But - our love for AAH hasn’t changed!... read more
We've been coming here for several years now. Staff and doctors are caring and thoughtful. Really a wonderful place to trust with your pets.
No Paws plan but they are caring and kind. And their hours are excellent.
I had an emergency with my Green Iguana (Darwin) and had to leave the next day on vacation. Even though they were booked up they told me to come in and drop him off and they would look at him when they had a break in the action. Everyone there was amazing, they found the time to talk to me (and calm me down), get Darwin entered into their system, check his vitals, and show him a great deal of love. I felt 100% confident leaving him with Dr. Willems and her staff. A few short hours later I got a call from Dr. Willems tell... read more
Been using their services since 2006. Great care staff and docs.
We love Aurora Animal Hospital. The staff loves our dogs just as we do, and we never worry that they aren’t getting the best care. They have seen us through new puppies, losing seniors, and everything in between. They’re family.
