RecommendedBefore switching to Aurora Animal Hospital a month ago, we were loyal to another vet clinic just outside of the Aurora/Centennial area because of the founding veterinarian. Founding veterinarian retired and their staff blew me off as non urgent when one of my German Shepherds had a possible bleeding eye. RecommendedI can’t say enough good things about Aurora Animal Hospital. The staff is friendly, the vets are kind and knowledgeable, they provide excellent care and all for an affordable price. You can’t ask for better! I have had some bad luck with my ball pythons recently and Dr. Willems is absolutely fantastic. If you need an outstanding exotic, and overall, vet clinic this is your place!
RecommendedToday we had to put down my wheaten terrier molly. The love and support that came from this facility was far above and beyond anything I have experienced in the past. RecommendedWe have been taking our fur kids here for about a year and a half now. The entire staff is amazing. I can always tell how much they care for the animals they see. Last Saturday, I brought in my sweet kitty, Chewie, because she was sick. Dr. Drozdz spent about 2 hours trying to figure out what was wrong. She kept me constantly updated on what was being tried. RecommendedWe bring our 2 red eared sliders to see Dr. Willems. She is gentle, kind and knows so much about turtles. We drive out of our way to come here for the best care. We bring our dog here too, and everyone who has seen him has been wonderful. The techs are all very caring and friendly, and we have never had to wait long to be taken into a room and seen. I highly recommend Aurora Animal Hospital, especially for anyone with reptiles/exotics.
RecommendedUPDATE - Well, it’s 2022 now, and things have changed a lot since my original recommendation! My original dog has grown up, I’ve acquired another dog (a long planned for dog who just happened to come at the beginning of COVID - ugh), the second dog got sick $$, the first dog stayed perfect, the second dog had to spend the first year of her life going to the vet all by herself (covid) and developed a fear - now I have a Rottweiler with an attitude at the vet.
