They stuff your mailbox full of junk, they refinance a vehicle with a better rate and also hold onto the title for several months until your ask these idiots to release it. James over there made the biggest deal about our auto-insurance only to get ahold of my vehicle title. That vehicle title should’ve been released within a few days after the refinancing was done. The receptionist there at the office was telling me that there is a some “60-90 day timeframe,” and that’s bunk! They try to steal your vehicle. BTW, make sur... read more

Business response:

Hector, thank you for providing feedback. We believe this goes without saying but, Auto Approve does not “steal” our customer’s vehicles. The reason we obtain the title is because we facilitate the lien transfer of the title from your previous lienholder to your new one. Once the lien transfer is complete, we send the title to the new lienholder, or to the customer if they reside in state in which the customer holds the title. Our Titles Team works diligently to process the transfer of the title as quickly as possible, but s... read more

If you want your time wasted use this company. I told the representative from the beginning that the car I was refinancing was not insured by me because I gifted the car to my dad. We got through the entire process just for him to tell me that the refinance could not happen unless I insured the car or my dad was added to the loan I was refinancing. Tried to get the matter escalated to a supervisor for help and was ignored. Maybe the company overall is good but if you get assigned John/Jack Griffin to help you, do yourself a ... read more

This company is not compliant with consumer fair credit reporting or disclosure requirements. I am a financial expert and know they are breaking the law, but they take advantage of most people not knowing financial compliance requirements. They did not disclose the almost $500 fee to do the loan prior to application or running credit. I will file a complaint with the CFPB and if this has happened to you, or they were unfair and deceptive another way, you should also file a CFPB complaint. It is very easy.

Business response:

Jean, Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. To ensure complete transparency, Auto Approve has noted on our website that there are doc/admin fees associated with the refinance and that there are no out of pocket costs – the fees are included in the refinanced loan. Additionally, our Loan Consultants disclose all fees (e.g. admin/doc fees, title transfer fees, state fees, if applicable) as well as the cost of any optional products you choose to add before any loan documents are signed. We were unable to locate ... read more

They still have my Title 3 months later. They are saying that it is because they haven't received a lien release letter from the previous company but this is false. I call Auto Approve daily and ask for a supervisor to just be told that management is in a meeting and will call me back when they get out. I've get that same excuse DAILY! I'll probably NEVER see my title and this is not a good thing. They only care about the customer until they make the sale and get their money. My rep that I used won't even respond back to me!... read more

The auto refi process was very rapid and orderly. The security transmittals and codes were a bit annoying. There was a lack of upfront disclosure of the loan origination fee. So BEFORE YOU COMMIT OR START THE PROCESS, MAKE SURE YOU INQUIRE ABOUT FEES! Had I known that in the beginning, I’d likely have shopped around a bit more.

Buyer beware... It took 3 days to get through the process (multiple phone calls) and when we were ready to go to docs the numbers didn’t add up. Turns out there were fees not disclosed. “Oh, that’s our processing fee.” 2.5% of the loan amount. What??? When were you going to tell me? Moving on!!!

Business response:
