Major lack of communication- between employees as well as with us as family of resident and with resident herself. Specifically- we were told we didn’t have to worry about marking her clothes because “the laundry room has a great way to mark names on clothes.” Then the aides or whoever took the clothes to be washed failed to put a name on the bag and failed to inform the laundry personnel that her clothes needed to be marked. He needed to be in a facility for stroke patients not in a nursing home.
A couple of important items were missed and when patient is returning from doctor their packet should be looked at not just filed. My doctor's orders were on there along with change of appointment time. This wasnot good. Also nurses need to know how to use a pic line.
Unprofessional and rude CNAs that don't take ownership of their own mistakes. Filled with justifications and speak with a very rude tone. No sense of cross communication. My grandma presses the button for assistance and the CNAs run an average 25-30 mins late. Asked for assistance from other professional healthcare workers and they ignored the issue.
My mother’s fe sing tube was blocked as her medications were not desolved enough. They could not replace the tube since it had only been 3 days. Mother passed away 10 days later .
