Top notch from the time we arrived until we left fully satisfied, may I add. Delicious cocktails at the bar with engaging staff. Appetizers, soup, salad, entrees and dessert were all superb, as was the team that attended to us on a busy Saturday night. The recommended wines for our entrees were spot-on perfect. My new favorite fine dining restaurant in Milwaukee!
We were entertaining an old friend from Chicago who was a very successful restauranteur. Our choice for dinner needed to have delicious food, impeccable service, and relaxing atmosphere. Baccahus was the perfect choice! The octopus appetizer was outstanding, pasta Bolognese was perfection, and crepes Suzette with Uplands cheese filling showcased the chef's dexterity with sauces, as well as an award winning Wisconsin cheese. Thank you to the Bacchus team for another memorable meal.
This is so far the best restaurant and best dining experience we have had in Milwaukee. If any restaurant is to be considered for Michelin candidate I would sincerely recommend this one. Nice atmosphere, nice seating environment, fabulous cheese selection and the waitress Amy was very upbeat and amicable. We enjoyed chatting with her and she made excellent recommendations. Fabulous. Food and service are always outstanding
We were celebrating my husbands birthday and after dinner going to the theater. Service and food were exceptional! Would definitely recommend it!
An amazing overall experience. Ask for Nick as your waiter, fantastic service. Delicious filet mignon and wonderful craft cocktails. Arguably the best meal we have ever had. Even though we had a gift card my wife and I both agreed we would come back for a special occasion, though the prices are high they are so worth the cost.
The restaurant is beautiful. The service was great - only mishap, the waitress mixed up the take home boxes and the rest of my $110 steak went to my friends house. Speaking of the steak, got the porterhouse, the filet was cooked great, the strip side was rough and overall the whole steak was not seasoned. Disappointed. The cheese app was great as was the seafood dish my friend ordered. It’s a one and done for me.
This was my first time back to Bacchus in a few years. We all thought the food, service and wine were excellent. I had the Tomahawk pork chop which was excellent, a friend had the sea bass and another the salmon. All very good. The Sommelier was very helpful. A very enjoyable experience.
Went to Bacchus for a business meal after not having dined there in several years. The food was outstanding--much better than I'd remembered. The white pear salad was very good, the scallops were fantastic, and the banoffee dessert was delicious. The Riesling I had by the glass was excellent too.
