Bacchus prepared an excellent gourmet cheese appetizer and filet mignon dinner. The tomahawk pork chop was divine. The wine and cocktails were also excellent. The service was exceptional. This was one of the nicest dining experiences we’ve had in the downtown area. We’ll be back soon!
We came for a business dinner following a long meeting. This was a first time for half of our party. Our food was delivered quickly and the server was knowledgeable of the cheeses, and thus sold us on the cheese plate. She did seem a little flustered and confused at other times, however she was kind and helpful. Her Server Assistant was apparently new, or still learning as she did seem very confused and flustered. Lovely, lovely restaurant. Service is outstanding. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Waiters/waitresses kind, considerate and incredibly attentive without being annoying. Atmosphere is very upscale but not stuffy in the least bit. The food is exceptional. Unusual but not bizarre. The size of appetizers and entrées generous for this type of restaurant. Portions were small compared to other Bartolotta restaurants, waiter pushed sweet wine tastings after we specifically said no sweet moscato or port wine. Chefs tasting menu was a “secret” but we wish we would have just ordered off of the regular menu. Not worth $400. It was worth half of that. Atmosphere was nice but nothing extraordinary. Wine list was nice, as expected. Drafty, there wasn’t a cozy spot in the restaurant.

Food and service were 5 stars. Great romantic meal before catching a show at the Marcus Center.
I took my friend to Bacchus for a Birthday dinner. They were ready for us and made the experience exciting, enjoyable, and treated us a VIP's. It could not have been any better.
