My wife and I had a nice dinner here. The entryway has quite a bit of old character to it, but I found the decor in the main dining room a little bland. Which was fine in hindsight, it kept me more focused on my wife and the food. Service is just what you'd expect, the bill was right in line for what you were getting.
One of the best restaurants that I have been to in 2013. Highly recommend this restaurant. It was a wonderful dining experience.
Everything is always the best at Bacchus.
Bacchus was a great place to celebrate my graduation from college with my parents. The service was very friendly and timely. We had nice big booth in the center of the restaurant. I had the Lobster Ravioletti for my appetizer and the Filet Mignon for my entree. Both were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. For desert, I ordered the Seasonal Sorbet. When they served it, the plate said, "Congratulations!" in chocolate and the server said it was on the house. It was nice to know that the restaurant paid attention to ... read more
The food was spectacular. Every single bite we had was astounding. The chef really put out some flavorful and inventive flavors. It's a shame the problems we had were service related. Bread service was almost forgotten. We had written there was a walnut allergy and walnut bread continually showed up. We had to pour our own wine. The staff were friendly and nice but they were busy and scattered. Being too busy shouldn't be an excuse for lackluster service. If this restaurant wants to be known for fine dining, and the prices re... read more
A grateful smile to the valet. A whisk through the Cudahy Towers exquisite lobby. A warm greeting by the host team, who had my coat replaced by a small ticket the moment I cozied up to the bar. Brian and Wolfegang. Serving up the finest mixologist creations, with a side of wry wit.The perfect booth. A tag team of darling servers. A crisp, Spanish Rioja...the sommelier knew just the one. Tasty courses, showing up just when they ought to, culminating in a filet that I'm still dreaming about. Business dinners, holiday parties, ... read more
Service was VERY slow. We had a group of eight, but not much of a crowd at the restaurant. The server seemed distracted and seemed that he always needed to be somewhere else. Not what I expect for a $1300.00 bill. Food was very good. The room was very cold, which was explained away by the fact that automatic controls were taking over. We had to ask several times before they would override the controls.
We enjoyed a 3-course dinner. Everything was truly delicious all made from exceptional quality items. Recommend & worth every penny!
They really did an amazing job. Not only was the food outstanding but service was great. From the wine to dessert everything was so memorable. I would recommend this place to anyone.
