We arrived early and at the recommendation of the hostess, we sat at the bar until our time came. The bartenders were attentive and entertaining. It was nice that they were focused on us and at the same time allowed us to talk amongst ourselves. The dining area had low lighting which added to the night. Every detail is addressed and you'll leave having enjoyed the total experience. The food is delicious and waitstaff outstanding. Excellent choice for fine dining!
Overall, we had a good dinner; but not what I expect from a Bartolotta restaurant. Food was good, but not great. Menu was not exciting.
My Huzband always makes a special day of my Valentines Birthday, and this year was no exception. Bacchus is absolutely my top dining choice. I love the ambience, the always friendly staff and attention to detail. We both enjoyed the New York Strip which was done to perfection! Our entire meal was a palate's delight. Overall satisfied but I only have two complaints which are the lobster I ordered was tough and too chewy. For the money spent on the lobster the meat should have melted in mouth. Also the cream spinach was good but too stringy, also alittle hard to chew. Everything else was good but not the best meals we tasted for the amount of money spent.
The understated elegance and edging is the first clue. Attentive wait staff are ther but nor hovering or in your face. Then the food! French influence with modern twists you see nowhere else, this is truly a "night out". Our favorite in a city with a lot of great restaurants. Always feels like a vacation.

My wife and I had the pleasure of Dining at Bacchus on Valentine's Day. We both ordered off the special holiday menu. We both enjoyed a wonderful crab salad with asparagus and blood orange sauce. The flavors were amazing. The NY strips had a marvelous flavor and were very tender.
