Liked the experience, didn't love. We were excited to go back to Bacchus for brunch because we thought during the day, we would have windows to look out and see downtown . The 8 of us we a table for eight obviously 4 looking at a wall/ mirror and 4 overlooking the restaurant. I should probably have requested the other room with the windows, but on the web site didn't notice an area for that. Oh we'll live-and - learn. Everything about Bacchus is excellent. The service is outstanding. The waiter knew a lot about wines in addition to the menu. The food is interesting and well served. An outstanding restaurant for an an outstanding event.
One of the top restaurant experiences in Milwaukee! Food was outstanding --- cooked perfectly and rich flavors. Service was outstanding -- we had a 2 person team that helped us during the evening -- and they were able to answer questions, give excellent recommendations, and provided excellent service. Highly recommend Bacchus -- especially for a special occasion.
Everything was perfect for my wife's birthday dinner except that the corkage has increased to $35. The Bartolotta chain of restaurants had been my favorite restaurants because of its prior friendly corkage.

I've been to Bacchus on numerous occasions. To be honest I haven't always enjoyed it as much as others but on my recent trip everything was beyond expectation. I was there celebrating a special occasion and the small touches from the staff really made it feel that way. The food was excellent and service was also.
