Had been away from Milwaukee - in exile - for eight years and had missed Bacchus. It is, as remembered, excellent. Attentive service, wonderful food, lovely ambience.
Warm New York ambience, service was helpful and attentive. Foie gras, pork belly, risotto and molten chocolate cake were all over-the-top delicious. Highly recommend for intimate dining whether a romantic couple, impressive business dinner or a group of friends just catching up. Will be back every time we're in Milwaukee or Chicago (yes, it's worth the drive).
Our celebration dinner was a gastronomical delight! I ordered the trout served over cabbage and potato pancake. The seasonings blended so well with the entire dish. Our wine selections complimented the meal. Our server presented each entree with finesse and confidence. The ambience was quiet and beautiful. We will continue to return for our special celebrations!

One of the best restaurants that I have been to in 2013. Highly recommend this restaurant. It was a wonderful dining experience.
Bacchus was a great place to celebrate my graduation from college with my parents. The service was very friendly and timely. We had nice big booth in the center of the restaurant. I had the Lobster Ravioletti for my appetizer and the Filet Mignon for my entree. Both were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. For desert, I ordered the Seasonal Sorbet. The food was spectacular. Every single bite we had was astounding.The chef really put out some flavorful and inventive flavors. It's a shame the problems we had were service related. Bread service was almost forgotten. We had written there was a walnut allergy and walnut bread continually showed up. We had to pour our own wine.
