This is probably the best restaurant in Milwaukee. The food is exquisite. Everything is just perfectly prepared from the best ingredients and artfully presented. The service is also perfect and I just love the wine list.
Every time we visit Milwaukee we look forward to dining at Bacchus. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive and recommendations are always spot on. The wine list is well stocked with bottles in all price ranges and they are happy to guide you with pairings.The clientele is well dressed and varied. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding! Our server was very professional and did an excellent job. I ordered the beef short ribs with the potato puree and it was fabulous. My Fiance had ordered the same thing. We did order the chocolate cake at the end which was fabulous! We also were celebrating our anniversary (which the server asked if we were celebrating anything which we told him) and he brought out a complimentary glass of champagne for both of us. Bacchus is a very respectable establishment that dishes out some great food. The restaurant is a little too formal, so please dress accordingly. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.
It was a very lovely evening for my wife's 55th birthday. They had a nice card waiting for her. Our server, Curt, was nicely attentive and friendly without being over bearing. The wine selection was wonderful. The menu had a good variety of options and our dishes were cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. Our meal wasn't rushed, the noise level was perfect for us to have a conversation without having to strain to hear. I look forward to going back again soon.
