bartalotta restaurants are always top notch, our waiter was great but just not around enough. we would liked to have been attended to a little bit more but it was the last reservation of the evening so that could be a possible reason. it would not cause me not to return however
My wife and I had dinner at Bacchus on a Saturday night. I was very impressed at the value this upscale restaurant offered that night with not just one, but two separate Prix Fixe menus! The food was marvelous, as we expected, and the foie gras appetizer especially noteworthy. Bacchus has a team service approach with three servers and I'm sorry to say that our team was not very well coordinated that night. The prix fixe menu was delicious and wine pairings very tasty! Our table was ready when we arrived and the service was good, although it took *forever* for the entree to arrive.
Unbelievable experience! Outstanding food and service. Note: It is pricey.
The restaurant is beautiful with high ceilings, modern decor, and a view of Lake Michigan from some tables. We have been several times for brunch and for dinner and have never been disappointed in the food [delicious, varied, and served in a beautiful manner]or the service which is always friendly and efficient with just the right amount of attention. We drive all the way to Milwaukee from Chicago on special occasions to celebrate at Bacchus and we highly recommend it!

If the Batolotta group has a bad restaurant, I haven't found it yet. Lt's face it, this has to be considered expensive (at least for Milwaukee) by anyone's standards. But, the service leaves you wanting for nothing and the food is second to none (honestly, I do not know a word to reflect just how good my Filet was). For us this is a special occasion only spot due to the price. But it sets a bar that only a few (the other Bartolotta's) can reach.
My husband & I and another couple had a wonderful dinner at Bacchus on Saturday night. The food and service were wonderful. The staff was attentive and courteous and had great recommendations for food and wine. Thank you for a wonderful time.
