The best food I've found at a high end restuarant in Milwaukee!
The Bartolottas are known for fine food, and Bacchus is no exception. Excellent food and excellent service. My only negative, other than being pricey, is I would like more variety on the menu. However, what they offer, they do well. There were no leftovers. I went to Bacchus for a romantic dinner with my wife. She was impressed.
Great ambiance and service; upscale menu with enough choices to satisfy multiple dietary preferences. Nice selection of cheeses for appetizer or dessert. Tuna tartare very good. Beet and arugula salads had lovely, fresh ingredients, but needed a bit more spice/salt. Squash soup excellent. Two fish entrees (snapper and salmon) were well-prepared and flavorful. Perfect evening! Setting was elegant, beautiful, and classic. Service was warm and friendly! The children in our group never felt looked down upon. The display of the food was beautiful and arranged with elegance. It tasted delecious, me nor anyone else in the group, can ever put their fork down. Time and again, I return to this Bartolotta gem for its delicious food, lovely decor and - friendly staff that excel in customer service. New York City is known for its excellent restaurants, and this reminds me of a New York City restaurant with the unique charm of the Midwest. I look forward to the next visit!
Baccus has been one of our favorites since it took over the Boulevard Inn site. We always enjoy the classy atmosphere, the first-rate service, and always wonderful food.
over all great experience. tables are a little close to one another however. would be nicer if there were more room between them.
