Great food, lovely relaxing ambience, pleasant and polite service. Love the Wind in the Willows theme!
The food was a bit bland. The mash had no flavor or seasonings so I had to salt it heavily. The chicken pie was good but again, not a lot of flavor. Ambiance was nice. Service was slow and inattentive.
Located centrally in Edinburgh, Badger & Co provide an excellent facility for a meal. The decor creates a pleasant atmosphere. The service was very pleasant and attentive and provided good suggestions on the menu, which provided a range of excellent dishes with a Scottish theme. Prices were reasonable, considering the Central location in the capital. Overall an excellent experience.
Thoroughly enjoyed the recommendations of food, the ox cheek was melt in your mouth & definitely recommend the beetroot & whipped feta starter. Service was lovely cocktails divine & overall a fabulously relaxed atmosphere.

Wonderful experience. Ambience is upscale yet relaxed. Nooks and crannies give a good vibe. Food perfect for a nice casual bistro meal. Whimsy of the Badger and Toad is endearing. AND when we asked for an accommodation to provide the table with a side salad all around, they made the effort and made us happy! Go - you’ll find a new favorite in New Town!
Fish and Chips and burger were wonderful. Nice cozy atmosphere and great friendly service. Good mix of locals and tourist.
In town for a week and this was by far the best restaurant we went to. The staff were wonderful, setting quiet and comfortable, food was fantastic!
What a lovely surprise of a venue, have never been, would definitely go back.
