Lovely waiting staff, food was good but not exceptional. Music too loud. Wonderful decor.

Great food, lovely menu, relaxed and efficient service, did not feel rushed and staff very attentive. Loved the decor and seating very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return.

First time at Badger as Queens Arms was full. A more refined experience than the QA - much quieter and not so much buzz. Good for conversation though. Food was excellent. The 2 pies in particular (Steak & Peppercorn and Chicken & Mushroom) were fantastic. Pork croquettes to start were a decent portion and very tasty.

Had a lovely festive afternoon lunch with my friend. Nicely greeted as we arrived. Whole restaurant beautifully decorated and has a friendly ambience and great service. Food was delicious and we had a very pleasant afternoon.

All good overall really. We had sunday lunch which was fine and tasted really good though the beef was a bit tough at times so I have marked it down a star. Everything else i.e. the veg, yorkshire pud etc were great. The gravy came in a tiny pot which wasn't enough so we asked for an additional pot which they charged us an extra £1 for - really?! I know margins are tight but we were a bit put out and thought it was stupid as it just antagonises people who may have spent well over £100 on lunch, wine, drinks and service charg... read more
