My friend and I had lunch here on a Thursday. We both chose the cheese and bacon burger. Neither of us enjoyed the brioche bun, the burgers were like rubber and the bacon not appetising. Chips were fine and the gherkin. The staff were very attentive and very pleasant. A lunch menu with lighter options would be good. The small bite menu sounded like sides rather than small meals. Not sure if we would return for lunch.

A lovely restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere and decor. The large chandeliers are a wonderful touch when feasting on one of their incredible pies! For what you get, it is one of the better priced places in the city. You will not be disappointed!
Our favourite restaurant in Edinburgh. Food and staff were excellent as always. The pies are amazing and the chicken lite bite dish as a starter is the way to go

Lovely restaurant in a perfect location - like a gentlemen's club based in a classic children's novel. We visited for lunch on a Sunday and it was perfect for families. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Special mention to the puddings which were exceptional. We will definitely return
