All very pleasant and good, but I don’t like discretionary service charges automatically added. It’s my decision to tip or not and I really don’t like it forced on me. Food was good as was the cocktail and the kids loved the chocolate brownie.

Very good food, excellent (quirky!) ambiance - just abysmal service. We were seated at 7:15 Sat evening and didn’t get our drinks until nearly 8 - and the restaurant wasn’t slammed (there were open tables). Really unclear if we had a dedicated server. Clearly understaffed.

Lovely bar area and very inviting. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, but not overbearing. The food was excellent, would definitely go back if visiting Edinburgh again. Reasonable price for what we had.

Lovely place, great food! Service and staff very attentive and friendly. Went in as a family of five (fifth one, our ‘take-everywhere-we-can lab), and had a really enjoyable experience. Will be back, thanks so much!
