This is quite a limited menu which is great, well normally it is great. Service normally quite good but a few disappointing items this time. With such a small menu and it not being an overly busy evening at least not when compared to other evenings I have visited I would rrally question how do you run out of one of the staple menu dishes.. no burgers available tonight. Fabulous! Only adjustment would be more haggis in the steak and haggis pie!
Food was lovely and the service was very good and there was no hurry up for us to vacate the table. Thinking of booking again for my daughters birthday in a couple of weeks.
Lively pub scene and wonderful restaurant. Recommend the highland venison.
Had a wonderful experience of The Riverbank tales. Staff were so friendly and food was fresh and delicious. It was my mums first visit to Edinburgh and having the experience at badger & co, made it that much special and the staff made it special for her!
Had the lamb and it was perfect. Setting was great and the single malts very enjoyable.
We found the food to be average, but the service was very slow.
We took our 16 week old puppy and the staff couldn't have made us feel more welcome. They brought him a bed, bowl of water and every time a waiter came to our table he got a treat. Small plates were very tasty and whole experience was fantastic. Beautiful building with great atmosphere
We waited for 30-40 mins for first pint of beer to come after placing order …. It’s kinda very slow , and obviously the waitress forget about the order , as when we ask where were the drinks , she was like … um…what did you order, again ? Food quality was so so in my perspective, saw some good comments before I booked . So it’s kinda disappointing. The vegetables on side were pretty tasteless and pies were only warm when served, while we expect them to be a lot hotter as it’s looked like just took out from oven .
