We're very pleased with how things have turned out at The Waterford at Roxbury Park! The place is clean and well kept, and every one is very friendly! They've done a tremendous job welcoming Mom to the community and helping her feel at home. She can be a hard person to please, and they really won her over. They even do a great job with the food. It's tasty, well balanced, and there are usually a few choices every night. It's a very nice place, overall!

They do a wonderful job at The Waterford at Roxbury Park! The staff here is friendly and professional, and they've really done a great job welcoming our loved one to the community! Our loved one has some dementia issues and they did a great job slowly but persistently easing him in to how they do things. It's really a great fit, and we're glad we found them!

It's very clean. The staff is very friendly. There aren't really any complaints about the food. There was a little bit of a rough start, but that may have just been our circumstances. We liked the location, it's one of the reasons we chose it.

Just did a tour and loved Waterford! Good food, lots of nice residents, rooms are well laid out, there's a full size refrigerator in each room (a smaller one, but still), and there seems to be a lot of outdoor space with a nice veranda in front and large courtyard in back. Marsha is great. My mom was having a bad day and was very hard to understand and Marsha still could understand her Parkinson's slur.

My 93 year old mother moved into the Waterford at Roxbury Park (108th & Q Streets) 10 days ago. The Waterford was among choices given us by Amy Robbins, as my mother needed to move into an assisted living situation following a rehabilitation at Brookstone Village. Prior to a hospitalization, my mother had lived at New Cassel in an independent living situation. Amy was very helpful in pointing out comparative facility strengths and weaknesses, and felt that given the profile my sister and I presented, the Waterford might be t... read more

The care is good. Mother is just settling in and they do activities but they're not quite up to here level. When she went to the book hour they were reading Rapunzel to the residents. Mother reads more challenging literature and hasn't been able to fine something as intellectually stimulating as she would like. We chose them because of the extended care option. If she runs out of money she goes on to Medicaid and they will keep you on through different levels of care. Another thing they could improve is the food. Mother sa... read more
