Get directionsThey're really good, I guess I just have a couple of issues. I think, just as a new person, I don't know how to go about asking them questions. I hate to just stop and bother the head nurse or the nurses and ask questions so I think if they had more of a procedure about going about that. They always make me feel comfortable when I stop somebody and ask but I think just better communication with how to go about asking them questions. I was her primary care giver and I think it's just me giving it up and letting them take care... read more
9 levels of care
I did visit Waterford at Roxbury and spoke with the Director. Again, a beautiful facility but no availability.
Loved the place. Not sure how good a fit it would be for my dad, he is so independent.
At first it was good. But once they suck you it's a totally different story! There are only a handful of nurses and 2 of the staff members who truly care. The head nurse and her sidekick are so stuck on them selves that it makes you sick to your stomach!! They tell you one thing and do the total opposite. So for the money that you or your loved one has to pay to live here per month it's a total RIP OFF!! Don't waste your time or effort on this place. Oh yes.. I forgot about the director of the facility. All I can say is gutl... read more
It is a lovely facility and would be good for a person who is independent and does not need any type of care. They are not truthful in the services that they will provide for their residents. They are supposed to be level 1-5 care, my mom went in as a level 1 and they did not provide my mom the adequate care she needed. They did not return any of our calls. My mom called me to tell me she fell and after being in the hospital, they would not take her back. I would not recommend them to others.
When I first walked in here, I was immediately depressed. I knew right away that my Dad wouldn’t want to live here. He’s a very lively man with a lot of energy and this place was very dark and gloomy. Even just walking up to the facility, there was a woman sitting out front with her walker and she looked depressed. The girl that gave us the tour was nice and everything, but it wasn’t for us. It didn’t feel right to have my Dad live here.
Persons in charge are not caring the staff are mean to helpless residents.some helpless are in front of fireplace all day slumped down in chair. My mother was lost in the first few days, wondered around the wrong floor, wrong side of building after leaving dining room, nobody helped. I found her, nobody had noticed that she looked afraid and lost. I was told by director family not involved in ~the plan ofcare?
