I wrote a review four weeks ago in hopes that at least a few things would or could be done, about the temperature and cleanliness issue. At the very least, I thought perhaps, the gym would purchase some industrial fans to help with circulation, while the AC has been out. It is now going on I believe five months. The last review I left, someone did respond and say they would get with management, which I know does take time. I felt that four weeks was an appropriate time to follow up. The facilities are ok at best. The locals that go there are terrible. Rude and douchey. Find another option in the area if you can.

I have been going to Bailey's for years. The last year it has really gotten to be a disappointment. Unfortunately, because their offerings tend to be all encompassing you are kind of stuck with nowhere else to go. I normally would not write a review on a business, but I called a few months ago to voice concerns, Manager was never in, and no one knew who the District Manager was. I wanted to give Baileys 5 stars after working out there for a month while living in Brunswick. I particularly loved the childcare option for my 1 year old son and felt even more comfortable in the safety of keeping my son there while the staff had her own child there. I learned that Bailey's is no longer letting her work there with her child after tomorrow. I am extremely disappointed with Baileys for doing that to a working mother. Joined the Gym like a dummy I signed a 2 year contract. Contract says if u move a lease will get you out of the contract. READ THE FINE PRINT PEOPLE!! I produced a lease and asked to get out of the contract. It was approved however Baileys took 50 bucks from my bank account and on the bill said I still owed another 50bucks. Contacted there customer support and was told I needed to leave a 30 day notice. So They charged me twice 100 bucks to get out of there rip off contract. Please aware of your personal items at this gym. I went very early on January 2nd between 12am - 1:45am and I had my ID, debit, and credit card stolen from my locker. This was only my second day at this gym and this happened. I've reported the theft to the Brunswick police department. If you can do not leave anything in their locker rooms!!

My wife joined in January strictly for the Body Pump classes and videos that they promoted. Since that time, the videos have not worked. None of the people who work there on the weekends knew how to operate the equipment and failed to fix the problem. She left several messages for the manager, David, but he never called. When she finally spoke to David and asked that she be let out of the contract, he directed her to the corporate office. Take your hard-earned money to a better gym in Brunswick. This gym used to be the best around when the former manager, Charles, was there. The new manager is the absolute WORST. He will grab your bag if you happen to leave it on a table and put it in whatever locker he wants without saying a word to you (don't touch my stuff). He laid hands on a gym-goer who was doing box jumps and fell off. He yells at people who are taking pictures with their phone ( apparently he's against any pictures in the gym). The facilities are fine, but God help you if you have to relocate and get out of your contract. The corporate office is unresponsive and will charge you every chance they get.
