I see why this gym is rated so poorly. They told me the gym was 24/7 accessible for members including tanning and classes for the higher membership price. What they conveniently left out was that nothing is 24/7 except the gym itself. So now I'm paying an extra $15/month for no reason. I asked the staff and they all said something different every time I talked to them. Still haven't heard back from the manager. Total BS that people do this.

Emailed manager to get information on a membership. Never received a reply. Last year I did a one week trial and the class I attended started 20 minutes late. I think I'll look into other area gyms.

As other poster has said, a rip off and very uncooperative. My mother has been in a nursing home since November of 2014 with altzhiemers, do you really think she'll be going to a gym anymore? Have financial Power of Attorney, so I stopped auto payments AFTER checking with Brunswick. Guess what, we're still getting billed. We have offered all kinds of proof. So, this type of a gym membership is a rip off because they try to keep you in their contract. Supposedly, if you move 25 or more miles away, you can cancel the membership/automatic payments by paying a cancellation fee. My son did so & was told by two employees that a bank statement showing the new address is sufficient to show he has moved; however, the "corporate" office will not cancel the payments. Do NOT go to Bailey's Powerhouse Gym! What do the Hotel California and some gym contracts have in common? You can check in anytime you like, but you can never leave. Granted, when you sign a contract, you should have full intentions of keeping your word. However, what if you have a legitimate reason for breaking the contract--one that is contemplated in the contract itself, but the gym doesn't keep ITS word and release you?
