we liked this hotel,
Great pit stop on our coastal road trip. Beds were super comfy! We even tried our luck in the casino! Bathroom was HUGE and the bedroom was massive. We stayed in a standard king room. Highly recommend.
Construction shutdown parking lot to the hotels. Casino parking is a hike for hotel guests.
The staff were very helpful! The rooms are showing a little wear but overall very clean.
Very clean and comfortable rooms, good sized bathrooms. I think The Valley view is preferable to the Mountain View. Nice staff. Mondays and Tuesdays the restaurant is closed but the bar food is quite good very near Fortuna and Ferndale, so good tourist options there. Not a gambler, so can’t comment on the casino although it was clean and no smoking when I was there.
This property is beautiful and very safe .

Being part of a casino complex was not an issue. The room was large, clean and well laid out. The bathroom was excellent. Did not really like the motion sensitive light by the entrance since it would turn on in the foyer, which can be disruptive in the middle of the night to one's sleeping partner. Also, the security lock on the inside was non-functional. Last observation is that for all the amenities, the sound proofing was nearly non-existent.
