Maintenance staff is AWESOME! They are quick to respond, always fix the issue, are friendly and trustworthy. You can tell they care about their work!

I would highly recommend this place to anyone moving to the downtown Norfolk area. I have lived here for 3 years and it was BY FAR the best place I have ever lived! The location, the girls in the leasing office, the maintenance team, the parking, the view, the resident perks, and having a gym accessible right across the street, made this place unmatchable against any other apartment in the area. I can honestly say, I looked many places, this place being the last. It far exceeded all expectations and all other apartment complexes in the area. Teresa and the girls downstairs, do everything they can to make it the best living community possible for you. Whether it is finding you the best deal, notifying you about upcoming events, or simply keeping in contact, this team goes ABOVE and beyond. It is no question why they receive the highest awards for apartments in the Hampton Roads area. If I wasn't relocating to another area for my job, I would continue to live here. Again, I highly recommend the Belmont at Freemason apartments in downtown Norfolk. You pay for what you get! I will very much miss living here after the month of May.

By far the best apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. Move-in was fast and easy and they haven’t forgotten about us after we moved in. Starting from the top with Teresa and Brittany in management and the entire maintenance staff, you won’t be disappointed!

Living here for 2 and a half years was fantastic! Brett and I enjoyed the location and the monthly free events. The units are absolutely gorgeous! The staff were terrific... always friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to make you feel like part of the family. Being in the military and gone a lot of the time, we truly appreciate the warmth and welcome reception we received here... the Belmont staff kind of adopted us when we had no family of our own in the area. Thank you for making our grueling Navy lives so much better!

We lived here 2 and a half years. The apartment was 1 bedroom with an office space/xtra room.... delightful! The location was fabulous. 5 minute walk to the mall and granby street, 10 minute walk to Waterside for all of the amazing events and ferry ride to Portsmouth. 5 minute drive or 25 min walk to historic Ghent. Each month, Belmont gives you a free monthly event to attend, whether its a wine or beer festival, tickets to the Nauticus, eating free during Restaurant week or ice skating in December. The staff are amazing, too. Teresa and the ladies in the office welcome you like family, making sure you have everything you need to feel like home. The maintenance crew is on point. Sidney, LaRoi, and Justin are quick to fix things when they break or lend you a ladder when you just can't quite reach that ceiling fan or smoke alarm. They all make you feel like you're part of 1 big, extended family in the city, and I cried when i had to move out. Much love to all of ya'll!

We've lived here for almost a year and are really glad we chose to move in. We haven't had any major maintenance issues. They are great at making sure the AC works good by checking it and changing filters, etc. All the staff has been polite and respectful, friendly and quick to get back to us for anything. Our apartment was so clean when we moved in. New paint and appliances worked great. No issues at all. There is concrete between each floor and the walls are well insulated. If I ever hear anyone it's very quiet and not disturbing at all. I like the convenience of the parking and the closed building gives cover from the rain and weather once you're inside. The buildings also have locked entrances for safety. The garbage chute down the hall also is handy. I don't have to lug garbage down to a main garbage dump. I love the colors and quality in the appliances and granite countertops. Its easy to decorate. The neighbors have also been friendly and cordial and polite. Elevators are also convenient. A lot of room for moving furniture in. Becca and Stephanie at the main office are great to talk to and deal with. They really go out of their way to make you happy. What can we say? We really love it here and would renew our stay. :)
