Horrible horrible place. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!! I got jumped my first full day here because I was getting accused of being "racist" even though I had made NO racist remark to anybody the whole time I was there because first of all I am not racist. Then the staff proceeded to treat me like I was less than human, and I never got an ice pack which I was told to get DAYS afterwards when I went up to the CHOP floor unit on the second floor. I asked the nurse, his name was Mr. Joshua btw and I asked him for an ice pac... read more
I see a therapist here and have to meet with my psychiatrist every time i get my ADHD medication refilled. the process of making an appointment with said psychiatrist is incredibly frustrating. i have to call the number for outpatient services and make an appointment, but it's rare to get a response. i barely bother leaving a voicemail, as i've never gotten a call back. i have called every single day this past week with a minimum of five calls per day and not a single response. i've left tons of voicemails, including on the... read more
I came here as a teen for a sucide attempt and this place sucked. When i first got here i waited five hours to get even up to the place and once i got up there they kept telling me to go to my room but wouldn't tell me where it is. They barely have any staff at all. There were fights everyday when i was there. They didn't have any food for me to eat for two days. They don't care there they only gave me therapy two times out of the 6 days I was there. I was supposed to stay longer but my mom luckily took me out. I still stay ... read more

where do I even begin? This place traumatized me tremendously. I was admitted there 3 years ago. I was very depressed going through one of the worst times of my life and all this place did was make it worse I got attacked by a group of girls every day and the staff laughed wall it happened and they took their good old time coming over to break the fights up. All I wanted to do better. Every time I would talk to somebody like a therapist or anybody I would get blown off. This place does not care about you. The staff does not ... read more
Got admitted here due to suicidal tendencies and self harm stuff and if I have to be brutally honest, this was one of the most traumatic experience I've been though. I still get nightmares and flashbacks to this day. The staff there are rude, it's dirty, and you barely get the help you need. If you are getting or have gotten admitted in here, I genuinely feel so sorry for you.
This place is the worst for teens ,they don't listen to the issues ,if there is a court order for the teen it makes it worst because they say we are going to help but don't do a dam thing to help ,they can get involved , because they cant over ride a judge decision ,so sent the child back to the same environment that cause the issues ,this is someone life you are messing with, just like the judge ,the child try to commit suicide twice because of the parents does anyone help nope ,lets sent the child back to the parents ... read more
Very poorly run, ie/ short of staff, untrained/poorly trained staff, mental health factory. Saw so many dangerous situations in my stay....directly caused by staff incompetence. This wasn't my first rodeo (not proud but ) This has been my worst treatment experience. I got no help. And it was my longest stay ever. 14 days because I was always waiting to speak to Dr for 3 minutes every couple days. And out in public in front of other patients and staff. Just a mess. Took 5 days to get shower chair approved for me to be able t... read more
