Completed in November of 2006, the addition includes a newly expanded treatment area. This area has a built-in bank of kennels allowing our vet staff to monitor animals as they recover from surgery or other veterinary procedures along with a bank of kennels designed for critically ill patients. Thank you so much to Dr Scherr and staff for a great experience. We came from Helena with our sweet boxer dog Rocco for some extensive testing and you guys were more than stellar. Thank you so much for making an already stressful time for us so much easier by being so nice, professional and accommodating. Dr Scherr took the time to spend with us and explain everything and that meant a lot to us. Well done.
While we were back home visiting for the holidays, we had a very unfortunate issue with our dog, Charley. While Charley was playing with our nephews she all the sudden fell over and wasn't breathing! We tried to clear her throat but it wasn't working! We called Big Sky and they told us to rush her over. They got us right in! Not sure what they did, but Charley was up roaming around sniffing the whole place just fine! We are so lucky that we had Big Sky Animal Medical Center. I highly recommend!
Willie is a tiny Malwawa( Maltese , Chiuaua) that has had the ultimate care in complications , from spinal surgery to dental surgery at the Big Sky Animal Center and is doing well. The Big Sky also boasts of employees with big hearts and treat your loved one as they were the most important patient to walk in the door. Rest assured they will get the best care possible .
i take my 2 dogs them I trust this place and the staff today actually got down to play with the chocolate lab!!!! there was a emergency surgery for another dog they kept apologising for being late and they werent late with us and Dr. Harmon even got down & played with Bella's today!!!! no other vet has done thay
