Bought property from this company in 2006. Everything SEEMED OK until, 2022 when I sold the property just to find out I actually didn't own it. They were real nice at first until I lost the sale because it took them 2.5 months to clear the deed. Fast forward to 2023 and I'm still sitting on property that I needed to sell because my husband passed away. They refused to purchase back the property even tough it was there fault that I lost the sale. DONT USE THIS COMPANY. Save yourself the headache and use a realtor.

The sellers on Billyland always recommend obtaining a new title policy once the property has been paid in full to protect your investment. If that had been done in 2006, the error you are referring to could have been easily fixed. The problem arose because there was a clerical error on the deed that needed the signature of a person who had passed away in 2018. SHOULD HAVE A MINUS RATING. We bought property from this company in 2006. My husband paased away before we retired and could build on it so I listed it for sale. After months, I finally received an offer on the property but ran into a problem at closing with the title/deed as it was determined that I did not have a clear title which meant that Billyland did not have clear title/deed to sell it to me. Scam scam scam, I lost all my money, the company Billy Land sold to someone else the lot I was buying and I never got my money back 

Business response:

This customer was cancelled after being 5 months delinquent. The company policy is to wait 90 days of non-payment before and account is slated for cancellation. Once the account was cancelled the land was marketed for sale and sold to another paying customer. The office tried numerous times to communicate with Mr. Giral, from September of 2021 until his cancellation in February of 2022, in regards to his account and the danger of being so far behind. I purchased land in Beatty Oregon and when i arrived i was horribly surpirsed to find it had no acess. There was a gate blocking the road that lead to property. I drove all the way from florida with big plans. I was devastated and i am just not crawling back from this huge loss over a year and a half later. I lost a lot of money that i couldnt afford to lose. Left me without anything 3500 miles away from home.

I drove what it supposed to be their office and it turned out to be just a mailbox. The land they selling it 5 times more than what it’s actual price. I drove to all the way to Oregon and searching the entire day finally found the land and it turned out to be it’s not even marked/separated one property to another. When I call billyland the rep told me that the lands doesn’t need to be surveyed. But first of all they were surprised that I could go there, probably they don’t except people actually go that far.
