Investing in cryptocurrency's in an IRA format can be complex. BitIRA did an excellent job of explaining the intricacies of such investing. I would highly recommend using BitIRA for self-directed IRA in digital currencies. BitIRA helped me invest money from my IRA into available Cryptos offered for my IRA. So money was transferred from my IRA into three different cryptos that I chose for my investment and protection from inflation. My Digital Currency Specialist let me know when my paperwork for funds transfer were completed and then I was informed on the amount and values of the cryptos that I chose from with my transfer of funds.
