Bluebird Care provided 24/7 living-in care for my father who lived in an extension attached to Tan House Farm where I live. The provision of care was outstanding - the selection and management of the carers was of a high standard and thus their daily operation was faultless. I am an 86 year old widower. I do not enjoy good health. My daughter and son-in-law 'keep an eye' on me. Recently they were going on a weeks holiday and were concerned for me being on my own. My daughter mentioned 'Bluebird Care'.I contacted the local office at Stroud and within 24 hours had a home visit - everything was explained to me and I agreed to have a daily visit by one of their carers for the week. Frontline staff were always punctual, caring and friendly, which my mother felt very safe and happy with them. Office staff also very helpful and supportive and friendly. Overall, a potentially difficult experience was made simple and pleasurable.

Reliable timings for visits with notice of any required changes. No visit ever missed. Regular visits from the same carers appreciated. All carers were caring and courteous, showing genuine interest. When needed calls to family were made promptly and professionally. Family had full confidence that Mum was looked after and all was well else we would be told.

A truly outstanding care company. Friendly and capable carers who really cared and the office staff are very efficient. If there were any concerns I was contacted, no matter whether it was during normal working hours or bank holidays/evenings/weekends. I would definitely use Bluebird Care again if I need to and I can't rate them highly enough. Thank you for everything that you all did to enable my Mum to stay independent, in her own home, for as long as possible.

Special thanks to the carer who visited most frequently and was absolutely brilliant with mum-in-law and with propping me up too! Although we have known your organisation for such a short time, we would still recommend you to others. (In fact, I have mentioned what a great job you do, to friends already, several times over!). I receive 24 hour live in care from Bluebird Care. They have provided me with carers that are perfectly matched to me and my individual needs. They go above and beyond to help me when I'm in need of assistance and always meet me with a smile and make me feel comfortable, nothing is too much to ask for.

We have found the care to be flexible to meet the needs of my father, which have changed several times since we have employed Bluebird. There have been occasional issues on the quality of the care and sometimes the use of "common sense" by the care workers but these have always been dealt with by the supervisors if they have needed to get involved.

I am actually a cousin of the client. My cousin is getting deaf and doesn't like wearing her hearing aid so we have to rely on the carers when we need to communicate with her. They are always most helpful. We are kept well informed about any health problems or general problems with the house.
