Love the design, love the wall with live greens, service was iffy. Second visit here, feel like we've been banished to the 2nd floor each time. Bar area is great, would definitely recommend this place for a drink and bar bites.
Had roasted oysters which were over cooked. Had the shrimp and grits which contained average size shrimp and bland grits. Expected more flavor and herbs. Tasted like instant grits. Service was great. My husband had the meatloaf and enjoyed it. Flat bread with truffle was so so. May stop by for cocktails and appetizers but not complete meal.
My skirt stake was perfect. Fish of the day dish was very average. Smoked chicken was at OK level. Cocktail was not good at all: way too much bitters considering small glass. Desserts were hit and miss: donuts were not good, but apples served in cast iron skillet with ice cream were very nice.
Food was average or less, service staff were outstanding, drinks were a waste of money. Because the restaurant chose not be other than minimally accessible, handicapped individuals must dine on the main level; a bit noisy and mostly common table arrangements with bar table/hi chairs- not too good some some impairments. In general, we would not go there again.
I like the restaurant and food and have been several times. But the noise level is out of control. Impossible to have a conversation. They need to add some soundproofing.
Food was excellent. Interesting creative items on menu with lots of flavor.
Upon entering the restaurant for our 6:30 reservation we were promptly seated . However 5-10 minutes went by before anyone acknowledged us . I then had to get the manager ‘s attention. We were then greeted by a very nice and apologetic waitress. A complimentary appetizer was delivered to our table . A Birthday celebration turned out to be successful.
