Great food selection and atmosphere is lively and comfortable . Service was great as usual however one of the entrees arrived at least 15-20 minutes after the rest! Not the servers fault .
More like a bar that serves food. Nicely decorated with a large bar in the middle of the room. Good wine list but skimpy pours. Menu is interesting with some original options. Unfortunately that’s as good as the food gets. We had their version of oysters Rockefeller , 5 for $14. Not even close to the value. Service was okay but far from exceptional. The entres were okay but nothing special. Reminded me of a Chicago stand up bar which happens to serve food. Okay for a drink but go down the street for food.
Up until recently Boca was one of our favorite restaurants. The food is very good with fun choices from healthy to comfort food however the atmosphere has gotten way too loud and they've gotten very full of themselves. Last time we were there we had an 8:30 reservation. 20 minutes passed our reservation they were explaining that the table wasn't ready and the people were still there, and then again 10 minutes after that as we stood in the loud crowded entrance. Took my staff in for dinner on Friday night, we had a 8pm reservation, our table was not ready when we arrived. After about 10 min the manager came over and gave everyone in our party free beer coupons at the Oyster bar right around the corner. We went and just as we ordered the hostess came in and said our table was ready ( she had walked over to Oyster bar). Food was great and they sent over two appetizers and apologized for our wait. We had same waiter that we had the week before, service was excellent as was the food.
This is my 4th time at this restaurant. It is my new favorite. The food is fab and the menu changes every week based on local farm produce.
Place was packed and I believe I upped the average age by 40 years. Tuna was excellent and prepared perfectly with Kimchi rice --- quite good as were the truffle fries and my wife's chicken. Service was good even the restaurant and bar were standing room only. Noise level was a little much. Good Place but not for business or romantic meals...
The shrimp and grits were advertised as being creole. If so they need to be spicy.
Great service - our waiter Jordan was welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating. Love there’s a changing table in restroom - didn’t have a little one with us, but adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Lame wine list but fab cocktails. Get the shrimp and grits!
We had a Sunday dinner just recently. The service was exceptional in every regard. The majority of the Todd was excellent and well prepared (mussels, tuna, gnocchi). The only miss was the Bibb Salad. Very bland. We recommend this for a casual night.
