Very expensive and only one person can do estimates for surgeries. She went away and it's been a week I have been waiting for this estimate to remove a cyst from my dog which has been bothering him bad from this crazy heat this summer. They used to be right on top of things and do them almost immediately, not sure what happened but I'll be looking to go somewhere else.

If I could give this veterinary office zero stars I would I brought in a rescue cat that I found off the street in the middle of the winter while snow was on the ground and it was raining, it was awful the cat was in terrible shape was limping and was malnourished etc. it took me nearly 2 weeks to finally get an appointment with Barash who I am already a patient with my other animals. they proceeded to scan her microchip and they found her owner they told me that they would only called them a couple of times, they proceed... read more

Unbelievably unprofessional behavior by Dr. Borash! Told us that our puppy was "very sick" and needed special treatments for a 102 temperature. I found out later that this is only slightly elevated. He even offered to come to our house to retake her temperature the next day since I was going out of town and my daughter doesn't drive. I guess that seems caring but, it's extremely unnecessary and costly! My daughter suggested that we take it ourselves. His reponse: "Oh. That's a great idea!" What!?! Nasty horrid place....They mistreat the pets left in their care, and most animals when you pick them up are stressed beyond belief, shaking so hard we had to pull over and try and calm her firby friend down...my friends dog was so bad that we brought her dog to my vet. And they helped calm him down... poor pup was on meds. For 2 weeks to bring him back to some kind of normal.

Brought my dog there a few years ago. She was old (16) and wasn't eating much and seemed confused. I thought it was her time to cross over the rainbow bridge. Dr. B told me her teeth were bad and that she needed to have many teeth removed and the reason she wasn't eating was because she was in pain. He did some test to check her liver and kidney functions and told me everything looked good. He pushed the surgery and I went along with it. This place is a scam. Every time I take my dog in for a normal check-up they find "something" wrong that they need to check further and each visit ends up costing me $1,000+, while they then say, "Oh, actually everything is fine". I've been told they need to "re-test" things multiple times to get a more accurate reading and am charged EACH TIME. That is ridiculous. I will definitely not be taking my dog back here. I wish I had seen the reviews before allowing Dr. Borash to perform a spay on my now dead cat. He said she wouldn't clot. A blood test would have shown that, I have since researched. So either he did not do the test (negligence), he did the test and it was normal and he botched the procedure(negligence) , he did the test and it was abnormal and he did the procedure anyway (negligence).This spay was done for a suspected possible infection. Doctor Borash has killed not one, but two of my cats. Times I have brought my dog in, he was out of the office for several weeks. So, it was unclear what exactly would have happened had there been a serious issue. But, back to the cats. Went to him for a bandage change because the dr that had done the surgery was 2 hours away, I was told to keep it. Overhead for two weeks and not let him walk on it aka bend it ... At the apt. He took of the old bandage because he got pee on it told me he didn't need one and forcefully bent it to check on it. When I got home I called place that did the surgery they were not happy says now he needs an X-ray at the end of 2weeks to see if the dr snapped the band in place if he did he will have a law suit ...
