Come for the atmosphere, leave angry without eating. We sat for 90 minutes and really enjoyed our beers and the beautiful atmosphere but it became very frustrating watching empty tables go unused for over an hour while we waited. The sad thing is, this is not the first time we've had this exact same experience. Maybe we'll just reserve this place for cocktails in the future.
Spectacular setting, just not impressed with the food.
Won't be back. I ordered smoked chicken breast dinner. It was like eating soup. There was so much liquid in the bowl and everything tasted the same. Told the waiter and he said that is the way it comes. Not worth the distance we drove or what we paid for my meal. Very unhappy.
Loved the atmosphere and scenery, but all 6 of us got sick the night of/ next morning. And that included my 10 month old who ate little pieces of the bread, which I think is where is getting sick came from. It's not fun dealing with a sick 10 month old, 4 year old, and myself.
We had drinks and Pizza yesterday, great food and service!
If I could leave zero stars I would...and I NEVER say that. Poor experience, we were moved 3X due to seating(who refuses to serve meals on part of the patio!?!) our server didn't take our order for over a half an hour and after I paid for part of the bill I'm now seeing the second half show up on my account today....honestly I would stay as far away from here as possible.
Sad! Beautiful place. Hour and a half wait. Not enough staff????? Manager lost. Outside bartender awesome but needed a bar back. So sad.
Not impressed with the food, plain presentation, small servings, slow service (waited 1 hr for our food on a Wed. evening). Had friends from NY visiting, thought to take them to a nice place, should have gone to the Honey Creek Inn instead. I haven't been back to the BLI since the original closed, always enjoyed going back then.... Big disappointment now.
