Went to matinee with my grandson and wanted to have an early in the city. So I made a reservation at Brooklyn Diner, the dinner was delicious but what made it special was the excellent service.
This was a great restaurant for us and our teens. Everyone loved their food and the wait staff was terrific - we had Joel and he was the best!!
I’ve had the pleasure of having lunch at the diner twice this week! The food is amazing!!! We all thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered! I will now be sure to make reservations every time I’m in the city! I can not recommend this restaurant highly enough!!!

Wonderful experience
This was a pre-theater dinner. The location is perfect for the major Broadway theaters, and the food is excellent! We were in and out in 90 minutes, with plenty of time to get to our show. Our group of three got a hot pastrami sandwich, which was about the best I've ever had - thick, juicy, flavorful, and not overly fatty meat, delicious bread, hearty mustard (on the side); a burrito, which had a nice mix of ingredients, and wasn't as heavy as the typical Tex-Mex burrito, and the not-to-be-missed noodle kugel, which was rich... read more
The food was great and we loved the ambiance!
Good atmosphere, flavorful, tasty food. Service was friendly, but way to slow, even though it was not a busy time of day. Will definitely be back, but not if we’re on a time frame.
Great place to eat before or after the theater--convenient to the Times Square area. Burgers are delicious (on brioche bun) with Kocher pickle and French fries served in a metal cup. A little pricey, but worth every bite.
