Had dinner before a show with 4 friends, we were all happy with our meals . Will definitely return to the Brooklyn Diner.
Festive and fun. Great pea soup and terrific pastrami.
Food was great. We were sat and served quickly. Server was very nice and management was very accommodating when we asked to move to an area with less traffic.
What happens if you cross a NY Diner menu with a quality kitchen, fresh ingredients and efficient, friendly service? you get the Brooklyn Diner! Very nice interpretations of some of your favorite dishes as well as some nice surprises. Yes, it's a $20 "hot dog" but it's really a VERY large (enough for two) German style sausage grilled perfectly and served with very well put together sides. The staff was great. I have a boot on my left foot and they were very accommodating.
Great comfort food, with large portions. Fairly reasonably priced for Manhattan.

Lekkere hamburger in een “op z’n Amerikaans” gezellige tent. De bediening is vriendelijk, helaas heel snel met bedienen en afruimen zoals vaak in Amerika. Wij zouden hier terugkomen.
This restaurant is located a few steps from the Stephen Sondheim theatre where Beautiful was playing. My sisters and I came in via the LIRR for a Wednesday show and wanted a place close to the theatre. Actually, you can’t get much closer than the Brooklyn Diner. Food was good, show great, LIRR not so great lol.
