The Brooklyn Diner was a good choice before a show when you don't have a lot of time. Basic fare and good service.
Our server, Kale, was excellent. Delicious chicken pot pie. Chicken soup was loaded with chicken and noodles. Great for a bitter cold night. Gem of a restaurant, tucked in a corner of Times Square. Desserts are amazing. Very large portions.
Food was ok a bit overpriced, tho I understand the location is high rent. We were there around 4pm and the place was pretty empty and yet our order still got screwed up. The waiter was very good very nice guy.
Had their famous “Chicken Pot Pie.” Seemed pricey but is enough for 2-3 people depending on how hungry everyone is. It was Fabulous. Go early because they do run out of them!!

Love the chicken soup and chicken pot pie. A favorite with my grandchildren. Lots of diner favorites.
Fun for pre-theater when you want something fast and informal. The service was friendly and attentive, and my favorite regular dish is the Asian Chicken Salad. It's filling, flavorful, but not too heavy . You don't want to fall asleep during the play!
Nostagilc place for a breakfast in family. Very cosy. All staff were very friendly.
Brooklyn Diner is a reliable upscale diner. You can get anything here. I've been there for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and after theater desserts. I've never been disappointed. Plus, the staff is really nice!
