Great comfort food: chicken soup is nyc medicine, noodle kugel the way my grandma made it, incredible portions will leave you full all day to explore the town! And - an excellent place even if you are a party of one.
Returned here for pre-theatre dinner. Location is very convenient. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was very good (chicken pot pie was an unexpected treat!).
We had a very pleasant lunch. No pressure to eat in a hurry and leave. Very friendly and courteous staff and waiter. Food is excellent.
The food and servings were wonderful. The bill was hard to swallow for a breakfast. Thank goodness we used open table to make a reservation as those with out a reservation waited for their table.
Had dinner before a show with 4 friends, we were all happy with our meals . Will definitely return to the Brooklyn Diner.

Food was great. We were sat and served quickly. Server was very nice and management was very accommodating when we asked to move to an area with less traffic.
What happens if you cross a NY Diner menu with a quality kitchen, fresh ingredients and efficient, friendly service? you get the Brooklyn Diner! Very nice interpretations of some of your favorite dishes as well as some nice surprises. Yes, it's a $20 "hot dog" but it's really a VERY large (enough for two) German style sausage grilled perfectly and served with very well put together sides.
