Busy place, but not enough servers. Our server had five large tables all seated at about the same time. Hence, service was slow. Food ok, but not outstanding. Pricey for what you get.
The food was amazing! We had the salmon Eggs Benedict and the cinnamon French Toast!
We are always on the look out for reasonably priced dining when we are in NYC since the shows and lodging usually are expensive. We were very pleased to find Brooklyn Diner, right there on Times Square, yet with reasonably priced, generous portions of brunch cuisine. The best part of the experience was the charming, energetic waitress, Genevieve, who was witty, friendly and attentive. We would go back there just to have the pleasure of seeing her again. A lot of fun. Great server, fantastic food, and interesting ambiance. Had a great time!
Overall, a good meal! Service was not terribly attentive but food came quickly. Noise level was moderate to high. Food was above average and extensive brunch menu.
