Brooklyn Diner is a reliable upscale diner. You can get anything here. I've been there for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and after theater desserts. I've never been disappointed. Plus, the staff is really nice!
Wow - what a great find in the theater district! Quick service was perfect for a pre-show dinner. And the food was amazing! Portions were huge - but good value.
The chicken pot pie and the pot roast were amazing. Huge portions!! Also the New York cheesecake delivered!

Great food. Be careful, though. Portions are enormous!!!!! Be sure to make Open Table reservations or there will be a wait. It could be said that this a tourist trap because of it’s location if it weren’t for the fact that the food is amazing and the place is super cute!
Our waiter was attentive and patient with our tables questions. Wish I could remember his name. The best Cole slaw I have ever eaten.
Their Cuban chicken is one of my favorite meals. You gave to try the coconut cake!
An average experience. While the food was priced about right, they did not have the variety I had hoped for. I realize it's a diner, but was hoping for more healthy selections for my diet.
Went for our third annual NYC lunch with our children and grandchildren. Service is terrific and food is tasty and generous . The chicken pot pie is unbelievable in size and though I haven't had it, everyone says it is delicious. It is ordered every year. I had the pastrami Reuben that had an inch+ worth of lean pastrami and was yummy. Potions are very generous though we manage to eat it all. If you are in the Time Square area, we would recommend you giving it a try.
